Is it weird to admit that I had a strong preoccupation with Sindy the Cinnamon Altoids Devil Girl as a preteen? Because I did. She’s so fabulous.
Turns out the model playing Sindy is named Pamela Vandenberg, and she has a personal website where you watch all the other Altoids TV spots, including one in which Sindy fights a guy in a bear suit (and wins).
I love this brilliant advert so much. Not only does it show the amusing side of sex but has a wonderful message about the prevention of unwanted pregnancies.

People talk a lot about the decline of civility and respect in our public discourse. People usually point toward things like bad manners, road rage, and overly negative, even hateful political rhetoric as examples of our society becoming meaner, coarser, and less civil. You know what no one ever mentions when we have this conversation? Those Charmin commercials with the cartoon bears.
